Controlled copies
Amendments to this Construction Management Plan are approved by the Construction Manager and distributed to all holders of controlled copies. A Distribution Register is maintained by the Project Team, designating an identification number to each copy. A Register of Amendments to the PMP is to be maintained by the holder of each copy, following issue by the Project Team.
Uncontrolled copies
Uncontrolled copies of this Construction Plan may be distributed to personnel, external organisations and authorities. These copies are not subject to automatic amendment (unless noted on the Distribution Register) and currency of the document should be verified by the receiver.
Project Specific Procedures
Any project specific procedures are amendments to the standard Management System procedures which the client requires to be implemented during the project. These procedures and / or requirements shall take precedence over any existing and / or conflicting standard procedure.
External Audits
We shall make available project staff and files as required from time to time for the purposes of external audits of any projects, by request and approval of the Systems Manager’s.
Guides shall be provided for the
external auditors to access the Management System documentation, by arrangement
and approval.
Introduction
The purpose of this Construction Management plan is to
outline the management system requirements and procedures which will be adopted
for the redevelopment of the Grattan St site, to ensure that the management and
administration of the construction process provided by the project team
complies with the client’s requirements.
A detailed plan is prepared to incorporate all requirements
noted in the Contract and that documented evidence of this compliance is
available.
We notes that following plan is subject to ongoing
refinement and consequently changes to methodology may be implemented.

The construction of a mixed use four level building with a
basement and sub floor area

Targets & Aims:
Minimise rework and where possible
eliminating risk, time and cost over-run on the project.
Targets & Aims:
Zero incidents, eliminating Class 1
risks, reducing Class 2 and 3 risks on a weekly basis, improving 1 % per month
on hazard appraisal audits.
OH&S Performance must be
constantly monitored in order to meet legislative and company requirements and
to identify areas for improvement.
Environmental Management
Targets & Aims:
Minimise the amount of waste going to
land fill by segregation, reducing and returning packaging and thorough
training of subcontractors.
Project Personnel
The organisational charts on the
following pages specify the personnel assigned to the development. These
personnel have responsibility and authority to ensure that works carried out by
the project team and or Sub-Contractors; meet the requirements of the drawings,
schedules and specifications.
Senior Management (PM / SM)
have overall responsibility / management of site QA / EMS / OHS.
Support for the implementation of required systems is to be
provided by Regional Office support facilities i.e.: QA / EMS /OHS.
